The choice of the second species can be very challenging for toxicologists and pathologists. This meeting will address the various factors to be considered when making this decision (regulatory, metabolic, pathologic, clinical pathologic, and molecular aspects) and provide a comparative overview of the relative benefits of each non-rodent species.
The programme also includes an interactive audience participation session where participants will vote on options following presentations on anonymised case studies.

The programme also includes an interactive audience participation session where participants will vote on options following presentations on anonymised case studies. The interactive session will be organised on Friday 14th November. The oral cases should be focused on non rodent species only and last 15 minutes.
Poster sessions are included in the programme and all scientific topics related to pathology, clinical pathology, non rodent species toxicology, including minipigs, or new technologies are welcome. Posters which have been recently exhibited at previous meetings will be considered as well.
Poster and case presentation submission: The deadline for submission has been extended until Friday 17th October 2014.
