BSTP 39th Annual Scientific Meeting
Preliminary Notice of the BSTP’s 39th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) and Annual General Meeting (AGM):
Topic: Development Pathology and Toxicology
Dates: 14th and 15th November 2024
Venue: York, North Yorkshire, UK
The aim of this ‘in person’ meeting is to learn about developmental pathology and toxicology with an introduction to DART. It is hoped that the meeting will also cover assessment of development, developmental neuropathology and immunology, juvenile pathology, risk assessment along with case studies and discussions.
Funding Opportunities
Several bursaries will be available to help towards the costs of the meeting, these may include both travel and registration fees or the registration fee alone. In addition, if the successful candidate is not already a member of the BSTP, 12 months free membership of the BSTP may be awarded as part of the bursary.
Opportunities for early career pathologists
For the 39th Annual Scientific Meeting of the BSTP, reduced registration fees will be available with priority given to individuals working within an “early career” environment, for example: stipendiary MSc/PhD students or researchers studying/working within a relevant scientific field, and veterinary pathology residents at a recognised institution working towards a professional qualification wishing to gain more experience within the field of toxicological pathology.
Applications for reduced registration fees are welcome from interested members and non-members of the BSTP. The awarding of funding will be at the discretion of the BSTP Council.
