EMA – Invitation to register: Technical workshop on real-world metadata for regulatory purposes
The European Medicines Agency is pleased to announce that the registration for the upcoming “Technical workshop on real-world metadata for regulatory purposes” is now open (attached agenda).
To ensure balanced stakeholders’ representation and considering the limited number of available places on our virtual platform, the participants will be accepted on a “first come, first served” basis. Please note a maximum of 10 places have been allocated to Academia representatives.
A live broadcast will also be available to listen to the presentations and discussions, no registration is required for this option. A link to access the broadcast will be available on the event webpage.
To register for participation in the webinar, please complete the registration form and send it to metadata@ema.europa.eu.

The registration deadline is 24th March 2021.
Each registered participant will receive an email confirmation containing virtual meeting access details and a draft report developed by the MINERVA Consortium (Metadata for data dIscoverability aNd study rEplicability in obseRVAtional studies) as part of the EMA-funded project “Strengthening Use of Real-World Data in Medicines Development: Metadata for Data Discoverability and Study Replicability” on:
- preliminary list of metadata and their definitions;
- proposed process to collect them;
- a description of the tool that will be used to access, search and visualize the metadata collected.
