Course “Organizing and Operating Activities in a Rodent Animal Facility”
The Fondazione Guido Bernardini (FGB) was established in 2009 as an independent, non-profit organization in memory of Guido Bernardini.
FGB is devoted to continuing education and training of professionals involved in the care, welfare and use of laboratory animals; the overall mission is to support the humane and responsible use of animals in science and to promote the quality of biomedical research by encouraging high standards of knowledge and competence in scientific and technical staff.
Research facilities play a significant role in ensuring that the scientific research is conducted in a safe, efficient and functional way.
The main objective of this three-day course is to cover the most relevant aspects of the general functioning of laboratory animal facilities with particular attention to new technological developments, scientific needs of research and management concepts.
The course subjects and the training environment aim to enhance the participants’ knowledge and to improve their skills on everyday activities.
