BSTP/AIT Joint Meeting

Emerging Issues in Inhalation Toxicology and Pathology”
The first joint meeting of the Association of Inhalation Toxicologists (AIT) and British Society of Toxicological Pathology (BSTP) will take place on 10th and 11th November 2016 at the Alderley Park Conference Centre, Cheshire, UK, bringing together many of the world’s leading experts in inhaled drug development, inhalation toxicology and pathology from all sectors.
An exciting programme has been developed which will be of interest to toxicologists, pathologists and other scientists interested in inhalation toxicology and respiratory delivery of drugs.

The main themes of the meeting will be as follows:
- Adverse vs Non-Adverse respiratory tract findings, and a regulatory view point
- CRACK-IT and other updates, including alveolar macrophage research
- Responses of the lung to injury/toxicity
- Inhalation Toxicology Case Studies
A poster display will be held during the meeting. All scientific topics related to pathology, clinical pathology, rodents and/or non rodent species in toxicology, or new technologies are welcome. Posters which have been recently exhibited at previous meetings will be considered as well.
The award for the best poster will be made by the Scientific Committee on Friday 11th November 2016.
You can of course just bring your poster with you to the meeting and it will be displayed if there are unallocated spaces. You are advised that space cannot be guaranteed, so to avoid not being able to display your poster, it is recommended that you submit a poster abstract.
Please do encourage your colleagues to attend; this meeting offers an ideal opportunity for “first time” presenters to exhibit a poster.
