AIT Spring Conference
The Association of Inhalation Toxicologists (AIT) conference will take place on Wednesday 3rd to Friday 5th May 2023 in Gothenburg, Sweden bringing together many of the world’s leading experts in the field of inhalation toxicology from a variety of backgrounds including respiratory medicine, CROs, the pharmaceutical, agrochemical, environmental and chemicals industries, regulatory authorities, academia, manufacturing and technology companies (in person conference not virtual).
The 2023 scientific agenda will include the following (there may be slight changes):
1. Day 1 sessions will focus on in-vitro inhalation.
2. Day 2 sessions will focus on inhaled cannabinoids, juvenile animal inhaled data and there will be a short AIT AGM meeting.
3. Day 3 (approximately 09:00 to ~14:00) will focus on AstraZeneca (AZ) Inhalation and Innovations plus a tour of AZ is being planned. You will also have an opportunity to ask the poster presenters any questions that you may have, see what the exhibitors are promoting and have the time for networking.
• The tour of AstraZeneca will be either “The Amazing Journey” or a “tour of the inhalation facility” (TBC). The tour is in the planning process. Delegates will be taken on the tour in groups. Registration for the tour at the various time slots during the morning will be essential to secure your place. Full details to follow.
• There will be presentations in the auditorium from AZ scientists (one on the toxicology of an inhaled compound and others on AZ inhalation capabilities).
• Posters will be manned for questions. • Time to meet the exhibitors and time to network.
