CES 4 – Respiratory System
CES 4: Respiratory System
Tuesday 13th – Thursday 15th July 2021 (to be confirmed)
As you are aware the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is having repercussions for a number of events in relation to regional and international travel.
To ensure the safety and well-being of our organisers, participants and speakers, and also the staff at the Department of Pathology, a decision has reluctantly been taken to postpone CES 4: Respiratory System which was due to take place on 14th – 16th July 2020.
Unfortunately because the long term effect of the virus is not known at this time, rather than reschedule this symposium for later on in the year (with the possibility that this too may need to be cancelled), the plan is for the symposium to be rearranged for July 2021, with the provisional dates being Tuesday 13th to Thursday 15th July 2021 or alternatively, Tuesday 16th March to Thursday 18th March 2021.
The BSTP are unable to confirm the new dates until late spring/early summer 2020, but as soon as the new dates for the symposium have been confirmed, the details will be posted here.
The aim of the Continuing Education Symposium series is to provide an interactive environment to enhance your knowledge in the field of toxicological, discovery, clinical, experimental or veterinary pathology. The Continuing Education Symposiums are designed to refresh participants’ knowledge and understanding of core principles, as well as discuss any important recent advances.
Approved by the Royal Society of Biology for the purposes of CPD, this event may be counted as 54 credits
Approximately 17.5 hours of educational activity will be recorded on Attendance Certificates
This Continuing Education Symposium will provide an intermediate level symposium on the respiratory system covering both theory and practical classes including INHAND, rodent and non-rodent respiratory pathology, toxicology and risk assessment as well as reviewing challenges in agrochemical safety assessment.
The format will include presentations, case histories and active participation of delegates. The Continuing Education Symposium will be of 3 days duration and the programme will be arranged such that each individual day can be attended as stand-alone CPD if desired.
The programme and updated information will be available in due course.
It is unlikely that registration for this meeting will open before the end of 2020, however, if you would like further information before then, please contact the BSTP Secretariat – email@example.com
