CLASS / POLA 2026 – Virtual Laboratory Animal Courses
Registration is open for CLASS (Current Lab Animal) & POLA (Pathology of Laboratory Animals) – Virtual Laboratory Animal Courses, presented by the Davis-Thompson Foundation.
These fully virtual programs are designed for laboratory animal veterinarians, technicians, residents, trainees, and researchers seeking to expand their expertise, prepare for board certification, and stay current with regulations and comparative pathology.
Courses Offered:
CLASS – Current Laboratory Animal Science Seminar
May 14–15, 2026
A focused review of key topics in laboratory animal medicine, including regulatory updates, welfare standards, euthanasia guidelines, and board preparation.
POLA – Pathology of Laboratory Animals
May 18–22, 2026
An in-depth pathology course covering common laboratory species, clinical pathology, aging changes, mock interpretation exams, and comparative disease processes.
Registration Fees
CLASS: $100
POLA: $350 members / $450 non-members
Registration Deadline: May 7, 2026
Participants may register for either course or both.
