BSTP 39th Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) and Annual General Meeting (AGM):
The aim of this ‘in person’ meeting is to learn about developmental pathology and toxicology with an introduction to DART. It is hoped that the meeting will also cover assessment of development, developmental neuropathology and immunology, juvenile pathology, risk assessment along with case studies and discussions.
Approved by the Royal Society of Biology for the purposes of CPD, this event may be counted as approximately 36 credits.
Approximately 11.5 hours of educational activity will be recorded on Attendance Certificates.

Reduced Registration Fees: The reduced registration fee is aimed postgraduate MSc or doctoral students and veterinary pathology residents plus non-qualified (i.e. not board certified) early career researchers at a research institute utilising pathology (e.g. <2 years in post).
When registering for the meeting, you should submit the following: A letter from your supervisor/Head of Department confirming your status and brief CV must be provided during the registration process.

The deadline for the submission of poster abstracts closed on Thursday 31st October 2024.
- Abstracts should be no more than 500 words in total, to include references
- Abstracts will be printed in black and white
- Please send abstract in word document to events@hg3.co.uk
- Relevant work can be retrospective analysis of data, prospective experiential work, case studies, procedural reports, methodology reports or a written description of a project. Work included in a poster does not have to have been published in a peer-reviewed journal. It is important that the abstract reflects the relevance of the work being presented to the disciplines of toxicologic pathology and developmental pathology and toxicology
- Ensure that the abstract has been checked for grammar, spelling, and accuracy
- All authors should review the abstract and approve it prior to submission
- It is convenient to use subheadings in the poster, but subheadings are not required for the submitted abstract
- Subheadings include the Introduction/Objectives which lay out the rationale for the work being presented, as well as the proposed objective(s) for the work and the hypotheses being tested. It explains why the work is important and what it adds to the current body of knowledge. The Experimental Design/Methods and Materials section describes the experimental methods used and, if possible, specific numbers and details of the experimental results should be included in the abstract. The Results section can include graphs and tables of experimental results (in the poster, not abstract). The conclusion section sums up the results and gains from the work.

Notice is hereby given that the 39th Annual General Meeting of The British Society of Toxicological Pathology will be held on Thursday 14th November 2024
All members of the Society are entitled to attend

Venue: The Grand Hotel, York, UK
For the first time, the BSTP AGM will be held as a hybrid meeting involving a mix of in-person and remote attendees. Remote attendees will be able to join the meeting via a virtual meeting platform, with details (including the link to attend) being sent to all BSTP members on 12th November 2024.
