The British Society of Toxicological Pathologists was founded in 1985 as an organisation for pathologists working in the field of toxicological pathology. We are a non-profit making organisation and a registered charity. |
Our Aim |
Our primary aim is to educate and inform pathologists working in the field of human safety assessment. We try to inform and support our members in the rapidly changing scientific and business environment in which we work. |
The Organisation |
We have over 280 members, with more than 50% working outside the UK. The society is administered by a Council of eight members with an Education Sub-committee comprising another eight. We regularly provide educational courses and scientific meetings for our members and guests. The BSTP represents the interests of its members in several national and international bodies. Membership costs only £25.00 a year and is open to all pathologists working in the field. |
