Artificial Intelligence in Pathology: An introduction
A BSTP webinar - in collaboration with the Society of Toxicological Pathology (STP)
On Tuesday 10th September 2019 at 4 PM GMT
The term “artificial intelligence” is currently everywhere; but what exactly is it, and how can it be applied to the practice of pathology?
The Digital Pathology Working Group of the BSTP is pleased to announce the next instalment in our BSTP webinar series, which aims at introducing the concept of artificial intelligence, and give an overview of how emerging technologies will be able to impact our work. Presentations will cover the principles of artificial intelligence, demystifying terms like machine learning, neural networks and random forest algorithms; demonstrate potential and limitations of AI in data and image analysis; and give an example of how custom designed algorithms using different technologies supported, and improved on, IHC evaluation in borderline cases.
Registration is free and the dial in details will be provided one week before.
